PLUMMY - BIO

Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, alt-pop artist Plummy delivers engaging and memorable music that blends together bluesy guitar sections, catchy melodies, and ambiguous yet evocative lyrics.

Already an avid lover of music in his youth, he taught himself guitar at the age of 14. In 2019, after a multi-year hiatus from the guitar, he resumed playing and began experimenting with music production and audio engineering. In December of 2019, he released his first single, "Veronica," which spent multiple weeks at the number 1 spot atop the New Artist Spotlight All-Stars.

Due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, he was unable to release any new music in 2020. Wasting no time in 2021, he’ll release his highly-anticipated single, Stop, on February 12.

Influences include Radiohead, Frank Ocean, alt-J, Pink Floyd, Kanye West, and Queen.
